"When Bernie Len told us about taking the last two people out of the concentration camp, and how they died in his arms, it made we want to cry . . . What Bernie and all the other American soldiers did make them real heroes. They make me proud to be an American. You can tell that the things Bernie saw still affected him even after all these years. It has a bigger impact to hear people who went through this than to read it from a book."
